Dr. Llamas earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Loma Linda University. Today, Dr. Llamas practices as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with LifeStance Health in Pasadena, CA, providing psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing mental health care. He also contributes to the development of future clinicians through clinical preceptorship and APRN mentorship.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Llamas is the founder of Mind & Heart™, an initiative centered on mental health education, advocacy, service, and collaboration. His professional involvement extends across nursing and mental health organizations, reflecting his commitment to strengthening mental health care through clinical practice, leadership, and evidence-informed policy.
