IKBA World Champion Danny Lopez and Grandmaster Samuel Kwok to be inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame
COSTA MESA, Calif. - Californer -- IKBA Champion Danny Lopez and Grandmaster Samuel Kwok will be inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame during the organization's 20th Anniversary Awards Banquet at the Hilton Orange County Costa Mesa on Saturday, July 27, 2019. The two join an already impressive list of martial arts experts who have been chosen for induction because of their dedication to the martial arts and their work in the community as well as their successes.
A former IKBA World MiddleWeight Champion, Danny Lopez confirmed his attendance at the Masters Hall of Fame celebration. Lopez has had a storied career in the ring as a kick boxing champion and as a professional boxer. He has also made a name in Hollywood, working on Minority Report, Mortal Kombat, Executive Decision and Fist of the North Star. Lopez had appearances in the television series Walker Texas Ranger and Knight Rider. He worked on fights for Mortal Kombat, and he was the fight choreographer for Beyond Fear.

"Danny is excited to be inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame," said Grandmaster German Hernandez, Masters Hall of Fame Vice President.
Grandmaster Samuel Kwok, a world-renowned instructor in Wing Chun, will fly in from London to attend the Masters Hall of Fame. Grandmaster Kwok began his training in Wing Chun in Hong Kong under Chan Wai Ling in 1967. He later trained under Lee Sing in the UK and Ip Chun in Hong Kong. Grandmaster Kwok returned to the UK in 1981, where he opened his first school. Today the Samuel Kwok Wing Chun Martial Art Association is one of the largest Kung Fu organizations in the UK.
"Grandmaster Samuel Kwok is looking forward to his induction into the Masters Hall of Fame," said Dr. Robert Goldman, who will act as Grandmaster of Ceremonies for the Awards Banquet. "Grandmaster Kwok was able to change his schedule to attend this year's event."
