Former Alibaba Group firm CTO brings a breadth of experience as a software developer, project manager and business executive to growing healthcare innovator
REDLANDS, Calif. - Californer -- MedTrainer, the creator of the only all-in-one compliance management suite, announces it has named veteran technology executive and software and systems engineer Jonathan H. Wage as the company's new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Wage, who previously served as CTO at OpenSky, an Alibaba Group acquired company, will be responsible for leading MedTrainer's international product development teams.
MedTrainer sought a top-level, experienced technology leader who could oversee the advancement of its compliance management suite and ensure that it continues to meet the expanding needs of the modern health practice—in functionality and usability. The company recognized that Wage possessed not only the right technical expertise, but also knowledge in business development and leading a multi-location, international team.

Wage will manage MedTrainer's development teams, including its software design & architecture hub in Querétaro, Mexico. Wage will also oversee the US technology operations while coordinating technology contractors and vendors. He will direct additional enhancements to the MedTrainer online platform, improving upon its tools for streamlining compliance, simplifying credentialing and managing regulatory training.

Prior to joining MedTrainer, Wage worked for nearly 10 years at OpenSky, before, during and following its purchase by Alibaba Group. He started as a software engineer before being promoted to CTO. Wage not only oversaw all OpenSky technology projects, but also ran the product team and served as an executive liaison between the company's various departments at offices across the globe.
In Wage's spare time, he contributes to the Doctrine Project. Doctrine is an open-source project, home to a set of PHP libraries primarily focused on database storage and object mapping. Wage will be based in MedTrainer's Nashville, Tennessee office, and work closely with members of MedTrainer's executive team.
