National Boxing Hall of Fame will be hosting a Awards Ceramony on 04.23.23 for New Inductees, Special Boxer recognition and Carlitos Avilas will be receiving his 5th Hall of Fame Award! Come join this Special event with the Stars.
MONTEBELLO, Calif. - Californer -- The National Boxing Hall of Fame will be having a Special Awards Ceramony in Montebello, CA. International Sports Icon Carlitos Avilas has already been inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame in 2007. Now on April 23, 2023 he will be receiving another Special Award from the National Boxing Hall of Fame for the "Don Jose Sulaiman Lifetime Achievement Award". This will be Carlitos Avilas 5th award for achievements in Boxing.
His 1st Award was back in 1997 from the World Boxing Organization (WBO) for organizing their 10th Annual Boxing Convention. Then in 2005 he received his 2ndaward from the World Boxing Hall of Fame for broadcasting over 20,000 rounds of boxing. Next in 2007 he was inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame for his Lifetime Achievement in boxing. The 4th was induction by the World Boxing Council (WBC)into their Legends of Boxing Museum with another "Life Achievement" in 2008.

At this event the Class of 2023 Inductees will include very special boxing greats such as Luis "Yori Boy" Campas, Graciela Casillas "The Goddess", Ex-World Boxing Champion Roberto Duran "Hands of Stone", Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, Ex-World Champion Juan Manuel "Dynamite" Marquez, Jimmy Montoya, Michael Nunn "Second to Nunn", Vinny Pazienza "Pazmanian Devil", brothers Gabriel Ruelas and Rafael Ruelas plus many more Special Inductees!
This Special Award ceremony plus lunch event will be held on April 23, 2023 at the Quiet Cannon from 11am-4pm in the Crystal Ballroom located at 901 Via San Clemente, Montebello, CA. The cost to attend will be $95.00 per ticket and you can buy your tickets through the website www.nationalboxinghalloffame.com. For more info you can email info@nationalboxinghalloffame.com. There are regular tables and Diamond tables of 10 available. Will Call is available the day of the event. All tickets will be mailed out by April 1st.
