FREMONT, Calif. - Californer -- PQCrypto, a cybersecurity company focused on helping organizations discover and mitigate post-quantum cryptography (PQC) vulnerabilities, today announced that John Basmadjian has joined its Board of Directors.
John brings more than two decades of technology leadership across enterprise software, artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, IoT, and cybersecurity. His career includes executive roles at Google, Amazon, Shell, GE Digital, PayPal, Workday, and ESO, where he led product and engineering organizations and helped translate complex technology investments into business growth, operational resilience, and enterprise value.
Most recently, as Chief Product & Technology Officer at ESO, a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company, John led a broad transformation spanning product, engineering, data, and AI, accelerating innovation while improving operating efficiency.
Earlier in his career, John helped build Android's Health Platform and scale Google Health's partner ecosystem to 2 billion users and 600 global partners. At Shell, he built an ML-enabled energy platform with multibillion-dollar impact. At GE Digital, he led cloud, IoT, and ML engineering and helped build the company's power optimization platform from the ground up to more than $1 billion in revenue. He also served as Amazon's first Engineering and Product Chief of Staff and held engineering leadership roles at Workday and PayPal.
