HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Californer -- VIP Productions announced today 9/30/2021 that production on Raised Up has been completed. Raised up is a story about the perseverance of the human will to overcome incredible circumstances. Alexander Terence, a retired police officer suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed in his left side in November of 2020. Terence was unable to walk, unable to close his hands, and was unable to handle many daily tasks. Without health insurance, disability, and a safety net Terence fought his way to recovery. Today, Terence has recovered complete use of his limbs and movement. Raised up is his story! Raised up was written and produced by Melissa English. Michael Mike directed and shot all the footage on-site in Memphis.

Melissa English has been a friend of Terence's for many years, his story is one of inspiration as well as one of hope in her eyes. She knew she had to make this story.
