Details:
What: This vaccine clinic has been scheduled on a Sunday to meet the needs of the working people of the Summerside and Stonegate East & West neighborhoods and surrounding community, and is the first City-sponsored vaccine event to be hosted at a San José Public Library. The clinic will be administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and is open to residents age 18 and older.

With the goal to close the vaccine equity gap, particularly in the areas of San José where residents have been the most disproportionately affected by the pandemic, this clinic aims to provide opportunities for residents to get vaccinated by offering weekend hours. To further address technology barriers, staff and volunteers canvassed the neighborhood to make sure community members are aware of the clinic.
