Wisconsin Rock Band Building National Recognition with "Crowns" Release
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- The Almas are a four-piece rock band from New Munster, Wisconsin featuring Crystal Teigland [vocals], Frank Slifka [lead guitar], Josh Sukowski [guitar], and Andrew Ehredt [drums]. Their latest single "Crowns" has ascended to the #18 spot on the active rock SMR charts, reinforcing The Almas' as a band on the rise. Additionally, The Almas have also been named the 2023 recipient of the Josie Music Award for Best Rock Group, an established awards ceremony honoring the best independent music in the United States.
Prior to the release of "Crowns," The Almas released a music video for their single, "Cage." The video portrays Teigland's charismatic and edgy persona, who commands the stage with a magnetic presence.
