In recent news, Governor Newsom has been actively working towards protecting democracy with the signing of the "Election Rigging Response Act" legislative package. This package includes Proposition 50, which aims to ensure fair elections in all 50 states and will be on the ballot this November.

Additionally, Governor Newsom has taken proactive measures to prepare for critical fire weather conditions by predeploying resources in Inyo County at his direction. This is in addition to resources that were already predeployed earlier this year.

In another effort to address California's water storage needs, Governor Newsom has announced new funding for the Sites Reservoir project. This project aims to expand water storage capacity and provide water for the state's 40 million residents.

As California continues its efforts towards combating climate change and addressing critical issues such as fair elections and water storage, this partnership with Denmark marks another step forward in creating a more sustainable future for all.
