Capehart Music Treasury instrumental easy listening songs are now available in more than 80 countries for streaming and downloads.
CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - Californer -- TVS Records has reached a distribution agreement with the Boomplay Music Service to make the 2,000 song Capehart Music Treasury catalog available in Africa. The deal includes both streaming and download services for the continent.
Capehart Music Treasury is a 2,000 title catalog of originally produced top hits of the 20th Century, done in an easy listening, instrumental format. The main artist for the catalog is the Capehart Pops Orchestra, which performed the songs at TVS Studios in Hollywood, Bakersfield, Reno, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Atlanta. Genres include rock + roll, jazz, blues, country, folk, pop, disco, Americana, rockabilly, swing, big band, and movie themes.
In addition to Capehart Pops Orchestra renditions, featured artists in the orchestra also release their solo efforts on TVS Records. They include Heathcliff Cherry (clavinet), Pumpsy Keyes (organ), Nick Malone (accordion), Pete Goodeman (sax), Darwin Bishop (clarinet), Tommie Guitar, Ocie Newton (banjo), C J Oldis (harmonica), Charlie Favor (piano), Clutch Roberts (horns), as well as 99 Strings and the Synthetic Sound Syndicate.
