Lauren Coyle Rosen Unveils Debut Album 'Purify Flame'

WASHINGTON - Californer -- Purify Flame, the debut indie pop album from the widely acclaimed Philadelphia and DC-based writer and artist, Lauren Coyle Rosen, is set to drop on May 12, 2025. Lauren is a prolific, inspired creator of multiple modes. Her most recent book, Hannibal Lokumbe – coauthored with the leading orchestral composer and jazz legend Hannibal Lokumbe – was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize, National Book Award, and National Book Critics Circle Award.

The album marks Lauren's striking arrival as a singer-composer set to alter hearts and spirits with her enchanting, hypnotic melodies and transporting poetic lyrics. She combines indie and chamber pop sounds in her sonic dreamscapes. Her music bears nostalgic, vintage sounds as well as futuristic tones and visions.
