The third-annual list of cyber tech companies consists of cybersecurity innovators 'every financial institution needs to know about'
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Wallarm, a leading API Security vendor, has been named a CyberTech 100 company in 2022 by specialist research firm, FinTech Global.
The prestigious list recognizes the world's most innovative solution providers helping financial service firms fight off cyber attacks, protect customer information, and mitigate digital risks.
To be named to the list, companies must address a significant challenge facing the fintech industry today and deliver an innovative solution that offers considerable cost savings, or efficiency improvement across the security value chain. Wallarm was one of more than 1,000 companies considered by judges.
"We're honored to be included in this year's CyberTech100 list of top security companies in the financial sector," stated Ivan Novikov, CEO and co-founder of Wallarm. "Given that APIs are fueling the financial sector, the speed of innovation in fintech and financial services, and the criticality of global Open Banking initiatives, it's important that we don't lose sight of crucial security and privacy concerns. Our API Security platform is used by many fintechs to protect their customer, partner, and internal APIs from attack and abuse."

"Financial institutions are 300 times more likely to be the target of a cyber attack compared to other companies. As such security executives in financial services must stay on top of the latest innovation and threats in the market to proactively prevent data breaches and avoid reputational damage," said Richard Sachar, director, FinTech Global. "The CyberTech100 list helps them do just that by identifying the top new technologies which can be part of an integrated cybersecurity risk management strategy."
