As of March 2022, the average check is $1,536.94, according to the Social Security Administration. This is not much money to live on with costs of products continuing to rise.
These numbers leave many 50+ depending on family and loved ones to survive.

Some folks have unsuccessfully tried the internet to earn additional income. Most of the options there are too complicated or expensive for the average person.
