AVANTE panic button systems have been successfully deployed in more than 10 hotels New York City in meeting the Hotel Worker Union mandates for one of the first US national requirements.
Since Gov. Phil Murphy signed the first US state law requiring hotels with more than 100 rooms to provide employees such as housekeepers with the devices, a measure of protection for people who work alone. Many hotels in NJ is now gearing up installation of this requirement to meet the January, 2020 deadline.
