Eve Wellness is First-of-its-Kind Clinic to Offer Women Access to Advanced AI-based Ultrasound Screening
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Health care is often identified as a key area where AI will have a significant impact, which inspired Eve Wellness, the first-of-its-kind walk-in retail clinic fully dedicated to breast cancer screening. Located in San Francisco's Cow Hollow neighborhood, Eve Wellness offers advanced AI-based whole breast ultrasound screening, providing women with a fast, easy, and comfortable screening option.
AI, coupled with established radiation-free ultrasound imaging technology, provides Eve an advantage over traditional breast screening options such as mammograms for dense breast tissue. AI, which the FDA has approved after a rigorous scientific study, gives Eve Wellness the unique benefits of using a system that uses a base of 2,000,000+ images when looking for abnormalities and able to identify up to 3,000 cancers. This exceeds the number of breast cancers a radiologist sees in his/her career. Eve Wellness partners with QView Medical, a privately held Silicon Valley pioneer who developed the first Computer-aided Design (CAD) system for the 3D Automated Breast Ultrasound Systems (ABUS). The AI-QVCAD, launched in 2017, was developed by a group of AI experts with over 100 years of combined experience. It is being used in 50 sites worldwide, operating as a radiologist assist in identifying cancers. Eve Wellness is its first partnership with a retail clinic.
