RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Californer -- D'ELIA'S GRINDERS CELEBRATES 70 YEARS IN RIVERSIDE
Family-Owned Since 1955, Now in Its Third Generation
RIVERSIDE, CA — On Saturday, September 20, 2025, D'Elia's Grinders will celebrate a remarkable milestone—70 years of serving the City of Riverside. Established in 1955 and still owned and operated by the same family, now in its third generation, D'Elia's has become a beloved local institution and a proud part of Riverside's history.
Plans for the anniversary celebration are still being finalized, but guests can expect a nostalgic nod to the past. During the 60th anniversary in 2015, D'Elia's offered original 65-cent pricing, drawing customers as early as 4 a.m. and lines around the block until closing. This year, the celebration will feature a limited "throwback" menu, pricing and other surprises, with an aim to balance the charm of the past with the needs of today.
