SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Branded Seats announces its first installation of the new C95 cup holder for Old Dominion University (ODU) in Virginia. The installation of over 5,000 cupholders was completed in two days and integrated well with the Camatic rail-style seats that were installed in 2019.
ODU opted not to install cup holders when the seats were initially installed, then COVID hit. During the COVID downtime Branded Seats, utilized its product design talents and continued with product development by working through several product extensions. This product was a priority since rail-style seating has become more popular over the past few years. Once under contract with ODU, the manufacturing, delivery, and installation was completed in less than five weeks at the Branded Seats US-based manufacturing facility.
According to Shad Bruce, Branded Seats® President, "This line extension rounds out our in-seat advertising products and solves a variety of issues with older style cupholders. The new C95 is the only cupholder on the market that will hold larger souvenir cups and creates ad revenue without the use of ugly stickers. This has been an issue with concessioners as they continue to market and sell larger drinks which offer increased profit margins."
