Environerd Studios Announces the Release of Environmental Mystery Children's Chapter Book The Case of the Abandoned Sea Otters

[Los Angeles, CA] – Environerd Studios is proud to offer the debut work from Katie Pelon, The Case of the Abandoned Sea Otters, hitting bookstores everywhere on Tuesday, February 28.
The Case of the Abandoned Sea Otters is the first in a series of environmental mystery chapter books for children, focused on solving the enigma of sea otter pups being abandoned by their mothers.
Riley, a shy third grader, puts her skills as an artist to the test when she becomes the lead detective on the case drawing every clue she sees in her favorite nature journal. Can Riley, her sister, and her best friend gather the right clues to identify the culprit and save the baby otters?

"It's truly a joy to see children connect with the ocean. There's nothing I'm more passionate about," said Pelon. "This book debuts my new series, 'Magic Seashell Mysteries,' which aims to create engaging, educational experiences that inspire young readers to care about the impact we have on the ocean and what we can do to keep it healthy."
Environerd products are created by environmental educator Katie Pelon with a mission to inspire wonder and involve young learners in protecting wildlife. Pelon holds a Master's degree in environmental education and has taught AP Environmental Science and led education programs at aquariums and zoos.
