Vivinavi has been widely used by Japanese residents in the U.S. as a local communication platform.  It has been introduced by consulates of Japan, Japanese radios and TV shows.  Now, most Japanese-written posts are translated into English. You can post and find local-based information in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, New York, Seattle, Hawaii, and many other cities.
