LOS ANGELES - Californer -- FOLKS, a Pitch Black company, is proud to welcome the teams in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, and Vancouver with the rebranding of FuseFX. This marks a significant step in solidifying FOLKS' position as a North American leader in the global VFX landscape.
Over the past four years, FOLKS and FuseFX have been working closely together as sister brands within Pitch Black: sharing projects, aligning our creative processes, and unifying our pipeline. This collaboration has proven highly successful, and the decision to consolidate under one brand reflects the natural evolution of our partnership. By uniting our teams, we are able to leverage our shared capabilities, technology and talent to provide cutting-edge visual effects artistry across North America.
Our new Burbank, California office is a testament to our vision for the future. Located next to Hollywood's iconic studios, this hub puts us right at the heart of the entertainment industry. It will allow us to foster deeper creative relationships and collaborate with the best talent the U.S. has to offer.
"FOLKS' presence in the United States is an incredible opportunity to work with top-tier talent, drive innovation, and build lasting partnerships like never before. We cannot wait to deepen our relationships with our clients by being on the ground and by working closely with the talented people who are driving the future of the VFX industry. We are very excited about what is to come," said Amélie Poitras, President of FOLKS.
