Gunner Concrete, Inc. Earns National WBE Distinction as a Woman Owned Business from the WBENC
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Californer -- Gunner Concrete, Inc., a regional ready mix concrete provider and leader in rapid set concrete, announced today that they have been approved as a WBE by the Women's Business Enterprise Council-West (WBEC-West), a regional partner organization of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
The WBE certification process is meticulous and includes an in-depth review of the business, corporate and financial documentation, clients, and the business owner, along with a site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women, and meets the stringent requirements set forth by the WBENC.
"I am very proud to receive this WBE Certification from the WBEC-West, a regional partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)," stated Geneva Milne, CEO of Gunner Concrete. "By including certified WBE, women-owned businesses in their supply chains, our clients demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of supplier diversity programs in and around Southern California. To my knowledge, Gunner Concrete is the only concrete company in Southern California to receive the National WBE Certification at this time!"
