LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce that director Katuri Kaye has been awarded Los Angeles Business Journal's (LABJ) 2020 Leaders in Law, Honoree Attorney of the Year, Labor and Employment. LABJ's Leaders in Law Awards recognize accomplishments of leading attorneys and law firms within the Los Angeles business community. Candidates in each category are recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.
The virtual Leaders in Law Award ceremony occurred on November 18, in which LABJ noted that it received over 250 nominations for the various legal categories it would be recognizing. Katuri was the Honoree Attorney of the Year in the category of Labor and Employment, and among a strong class of finalists exemplifying legal excellence, leadership and service. In her virtual acceptance of the Award, Katuri noted that, "Leadership is not only being an excellent lawyer, but it's also being a servant to the larger community; and now, more than ever, lawyers have to commit to being social engineers in order to effectuate true changes."
