The Joanna Pearl Foundation carries forward the community impact of Make Music Temecula with an expanded mission centered on music access, education, connection and service.
TEMECULA, Calif. - Californer -- The Joanna Pearl Foundation, a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by singer-songwriter Joanna Pearl, announces the transition of Make Music Temecula into a broader organization designed to expand the role music can play in education, community connection and service throughout Southern California.
Make Music Temecula was created to bring people together through music and became known locally for community performances, Make Music Day Temecula, instrument distribution and partnerships with organizations serving children, families and individuals with special needs. The work also included educational music experiences and collaborations with local nonprofits and community groups.
The Joanna Pearl Foundation will carry that history forward while allowing the organization to grow beyond the scope of a single annual music celebration. The Foundation's broader mission is to use music as a tool to connect people, create opportunities, support community organizations and make meaningful musical experiences more accessible.
