FREMONT, Calif. - Californer -- Nationwide Boiler Inc. is proud to announce the successful conclusion of their Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links from May 8-9, 2024. The entire event culminated in a total amount of more than $63,000 raised through sponsorships, donations, auctions, raffles, and games. All funds raised will be equally distributed between two noble causes: the American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) Scholarship Fund, which supports the education and development of future professionals in the boiler industry, and Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area, an organization dedicated to granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.
"We are thrilled with the incredible support and participation we received this year," said Larry Day, President of Nationwide Boiler Inc. "The generosity of our participants, donors, and event sponsors has allowed us to continue this wonderful tradition, making a significant contribution to two outstanding organizations. The results are a testament to the strength and commitment of our industry and community as a whole."

The occasion brought together 52 enthusiastic golfers for a practice round at the Poppy Hills Golf Course followed by a tournament round at the Pebble Beach Golf Links. At the conclusion of the event, roughly 100 guest attendees gathered for a Hawaiian Luau themed awards banquet, auction and raffle events, and buffet dinner. The tournament saw Geoff Wilkinson Jr. of G.T. Wilkinson Companies emerge as the Low Gross Winner, showcasing outstanding skill and sportsmanship on the course. Mitch Frank of HTS, Inc., was the Handicap Division Winner, and Matt Whittington of Hurst Boiler & Welding Company was the Callaway Division Winner. Nationwide Boiler's Jack Valentine took home the award for Closest to the Pin, and, for the first time in the history of this tournament, Longest Drive was awarded to a women golfer, Emily Forth of Tulsa Heaters Midstream.
The spirited participation of all the golfers and attendees made it a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Nationwide Boiler extends heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors, participants, and attendees who made this event possible. Their contributions and enthusiasm were instrumental in achieving this remarkable outcome.
