International Frozen Yogurt Association recognizes Yoga-urt for commitment to froyo excellence. The new Yoga-urt in Santa Monica, opened earlier this month, joins the other two Yoga-urt shops as Swirl of Honor recipients.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Yoga-urt Santa Monica has just been awarded with three swirls by International Frozen Yogurt Association's Swirl of Honor program. Yoga-urt earned the maximum possible number of swirls, based on an assessment of frozen yogurt quality, store cleanliness, superior customer service, and environmentally friendly business practices.
The Swirl of Honor Program was launched by the IFYA in late 2013 to recognize excellence in frozen yogurt. It is the first and only quality seal program specifically for frozen yogurt stores. Recipients receive one to three Swirls (1 = good, 2 = very good, 3 = excellent) based on how they meet IFYA standards.
Yoga-urt is known for bringing the Namaste into people's lives by providing nourishment for those seeking a healthier life by enjoying organic, dairy-free, soy-free treats in a peaceful setting. It is LA's first and only all organic, plant-based a soft serve/froyo concept. The Santa Monica location is the third location for Yoga-urt and the first on the Westside.

"Yoga-urt is all about quality and offering something that not only allergen-friendly and good for you but also the best; we're talking hand-crafted, all-natural, made-from-scratch. We also applaud their values: creating a welcoming space, caring about the Earth and community, and supporting important causes," said Susan Linton, IFYA President. "Our association is extremely honored to welcome Yoga-urt to our program."
"Yoga-urt is honored to join the Swirl of Honor program from the International Frozen Yogurt Association. We've always appreciated their support since we first opened in 2015! We are thrilled that our unique and delicious frozen yogurt has been embraced by so many," said Melissa Schulman, Founder.
