SAN FRANCISCO, April 22, 2024 ~ Nium, a leading company in real-time cross-border payments, has recently announced the appointment of Alexandra Johnson as their first Chief Payments Officer. This newly-created position aims to bring Nium closer to its partners in the payments ecosystem. Johnson will be responsible for overseeing the Global Banking and Payment Operations teams and will report directly to Prajit Nanu, Co-Founder and CEO of Nium.

As Chief Payments Officer, Johnson will be in charge of developing strategies, managing day-to-day activities, and driving the evolution of Nium's payments network team. In addition, she will work closely with the Risk and Compliance teams in each market to strengthen frameworks and establish new relationships.
