Cortex 4.0 delivers up to 2.5x faster coding workflows, immersive AI interactions, and a fully reimagined AI workspace across VS Code and three browsers.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Pervaziv AI today announced Cortex 4.0, a major advancement in enterprise AI coding technology engineered to dramatically improve speed, responsiveness, scalability, and usability for modern software development teams.
The release arrives as enterprises rapidly adopt AI coding agents across software engineering, security operations, and multicloud infrastructure workflows. As AI systems become increasingly sophisticated, organizations are encountering growing challenges around latency, orchestration overhead, workflow coordination, and interactive responsiveness.
Cortex 4.0 was designed specifically to address those enterprise scale bottlenecks.
Faster AI Workflows for Modern Engineering Teams
The new release introduces a completely redesigned communication and runtime architecture optimized for advanced agentic workflows involving repository reasoning, multi file edits, orchestration tasks, security analysis, and long running AI interactions.

Internal benchmarking demonstrated up to 2.5x faster execution across several coding workflows, with overall measured agentic workflow performance improving by approximately 1.5x.
The updated architecture was developed after extensive analysis of runtime telemetry, latency bottlenecks, workflow coordination behavior, tool interactions, and execution patterns observed across real world enterprise development environments. The result is a significantly more responsive AI system engineered to scale efficiently as workflow complexity increases.
A Fully Reimagined Enterprise AI Workspace
Cortex 4.0 introduces one of the largest design upgrades in platform's history.
The browser and VS Code experiences now share a unified visual interface and interaction model designed to create a more immersive and intuitive AI workspace. Cortex in the browser currently supports Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.
The redesigned environment includes upgraded chat workflows, streamlined controls, intelligent suggestions, enhanced code and security patch rendering, simplified context management, improved MCP interactions, voice capabilities, and responsive AI outputs.

The release builds upon recent Cortex innovations spanning multicloud orchestration, enterprise security workflows, AI privacy scanning, repository intelligence, and multi agent automation, including integrations across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
"We believe the future of enterprise AI belongs to platforms that combine intelligence, performance, security, and usability into one seamless experience," said Anoop Jaishankar, Founder and CEO of Pervaziv AI. "Cortex 4.0 represents a major leap forward in enterprise coding agents. We redesigned the runtime architecture, rebuilt the communication layer, and created a fully immersive AI workspace engineered for modern development and security teams."
Beyond Traditional Coding Assistants
Unlike conventional coding assistants focused primarily on code generation, Cortex combines coding intelligence, AI powered security operations, multicloud integrations, repository reasoning, and workflow orchestration into a unified enterprise AI platform. The platform internally measures a broad set of AI quality metrics.
Cortex 4.0 also introduces additional enterprise orchestration, workflow coordination, security intelligence, and repository level capabilities that are not fully showcased publicly.
