The Los Angeles-based creative agency helped bring the heartfelt floral brand online with a custom Shopify experience rooted in community, sustainability, and purpose-driven design.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Ripe Media, a creative agency specializing in brand, design, and digital experiences for values-driven businesses, has launched a new Shopify website for San Diego Blooms, a woman-owned flower studio based in Escondido, CA. The project brings the brand's soulful, locally-rooted approach to floral design into a new era of accessibility, with online ordering, seasonal showcases, and a clear connection to its community mission.
San Diego Blooms was founded in 2024 as a space to create joy through flowers, blending free-flowing, garden-inspired arrangements with a commitment to wellness, sustainability, and giving back. The studio supports a range of local organizations including Mental Health Services San Diego, Susan G. Komen, CAL FIRE, and the San Diego Fire Department, making community care a core part of its identity.

Ripe Media worked closely with San Diego Blooms to design and develop a Shopify-powered site that feels as warm, vibrant, and intentional as the shop itself. From theme selection and styling to content integration and mobile-first optimization, the new website reflects both the creative spirit of the brand and the practical needs of local customers seeking meaningful, same-day floral delivery.
"We love working with founders who have a clear purpose behind their brand," said Chris Simental, Co-Founder at RIPE. "San Diego Blooms isn't just selling flowers. They're creating connection, comfort, and celebration through design. We're proud to have helped bring that energy online."
The new site allows customers to browse handcrafted bouquets, learn more about the studio's values, and schedule delivery throughout North County San Diego. The design emphasizes clarity, storytelling, and ease of use. All hallmarks of RIPE's approach to digital projects for small businesses and nonprofits.
