REDLANDS, Calif. - Californer -- Screening 6:00pm PST on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 will be Director Ryan Stevens Harris' "Sweetest Vacation" at Harkins Theatres Mountain Grove 16 movie theater, 27481 San Bernardino Avenue, Redlands, California 92374. Online, advance tickets are only $11.00 per person at AllEvents.by/PhilE. The public is invited to come vote for their favorite film at this Election Night Hollywood styled, red carpet event.
Created by14 artists entirely during the 48 hour time period Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2022, plot wise, "Sweetest Vacation" is a Halloween Holiday Vacation romp through the mind, as an elder is thrust into a different world . . . with some assistance.
Having already won one of two 2022 Inland Empire 48 Audience Favorite Awards at its Oct. 19th Regal Edwards Ontario Palace World Premiere screening, this 2022 Rancho Cucamonga 48 Hour Film Project production will have its second ever big screen public appearance in competition with 12 additional Best Of mini short films. All under 8 minute movies will vie to represent the Inland Empire Region in March of 2023 at the Filmapalooza Worldwide competition in Los Angeles. LA winners will go on to screen in the South of France at Festival de Cannes' 2023 Short Film Corner.

Called "Incredible Sweet" by Auckland, New Zealand's Kiwis Week Fest and a "Fantastic Fantasy" by West Bengal, India's Light and Shadow Film Awards, "Sweetest Vacation" has already been honored with 12 awards during 2022 including: Best Director of Photography to Franklin Whitlatch, Best Mystery Screenplay, Most Important Production PhilE Award, the Inland Empire Film Festival's Top Movie-Vacation award, 2 Best Fantasy, 2 Best Dark Comedy and 2 Best Performer awards to the movie's Star and Executive Producer Phillip E. Walker-MFA, in addition to the before mentioned IE48HFP Audience Favorite Award.
