Ufone Increases Customer Satisfaction while Saving Almost 1,000% with netElastic vBNG

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Californer -- netElastic, an innovative software company providing high-performance routing solutions, today announced Ufone has selected netElastic's virtual broadband network gateway (vBNG) to keep their services fast, reliable, and cost-effective.

Ufone, based in Auckland, Zealand, has become one of the country's leading VoIP service providers by delivering state-of-the-art communications services. Ufone was looking for a BNG (or BRAS) as part of a network upgrade that took months of meticulous planning and implementation. In addition to evaluating netElastic vBNG, Ufone also looked at BNGs from a few large router manufacturers.

"The big router manufacturers required close to 1,000% more investment dollars for a single BNG (compared to netElastic), since we were expected to purchase a larger number of licenses up-front than we actually needed," according to Ufone's CEO Nigel Rayneau.
