This week Visit Temecula Valley is launching 10Lake Valley, a new tourism brand designed to increase awareness of the many outdoor recreational experiences visitors can enjoy in Southwest Riverside County, California.
TEMECULA, Calif. - Californer -- Visit Temecula Valley today announced the launch of 10Lake Valley, Southern California's newest tourism destination, with 10 lakes and eight communities that span over 214 square miles of lakes, rivers, cities, mountain peaks, and fertile valleys. Located in Southwest Riverside County, 10Lake Valley gives travelers endless opportunities for adventure and includes Canyon Lake, Hemet, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, San Jacinto, Temecula, and Wildomar.
In line with Visit California's Ultimate Playground campaign, which aims to inspire travelers to take a fun and free-spirited trip to the state, 10Lake Valley invites visitors to "embrace play their own way," whether hiking, biking, fishing, boating, taking a hot air balloon flight, or tasting wine. There are ample opportunities for every traveler to find activities that suit their personality and style.

"What many people don't know about Southwest Riverside County is that there are many unique areas waiting to be discovered, and that's what 10Lake Valley is all about," said Chuck Washington, Riverside County Supervisor. "I am immensely proud of this initiative, which showcases the incredible beauty of our region and creates new opportunities for exploration and adventure for our visitors."
Located within a two-hour drive of every major city in Southern California, 10Lake Valley includes Temecula Valley Wine Country as well as Diamond Valley Lake, Lake Hemet, and Lake Elsinore, which offer water sports like fishing, kayaking, wind surfing, boating, water skiing, and jet skiing.
"The launch of 10Lake Valley furthers our commitment to Riverside County tourism by promoting several destinations within our region that are lesser known but have a great deal to offer visitors, especially those who enjoy outdoor recreation and activities," said Scott A.
