The most prestigious award in college football is coming to Mossy Nissan dealerships in San Diego, California. Officially called the Heisman Memorial Trophy, it is named after influential football pioneer, John W. Heisman.
SAN DIEGO - Californer -- The award is given each year to a player who demonstrates outstanding performance which "best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity," and ultimately winners of the trophy "epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work," according to the Heisman Trust.
Mossy Nissan has been given the opportunity to share the prestigious trophy with its customers and San Diego communities, who will have a chance to get up close and personal for a special photo opportunity at select Mossy Nissan Dealerships. In conjunction with the Heisman visit, Mossy Nissan has announced their Heisman Pose Contest (click for official rules on https://www.mossynissan.com/) that offers a chance for a member of the public to visit participating Mossy Nissans to strike their best Heisman pose and get a picture with the trophy. They can then share the picture on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the #MossyNissanHeismanPose to be entered to win a $200 Visa Gift card and a 4-pack of tickets to an SDSU football game.

Mossy Nissan will also provide college football fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite Heisman Trophy candidates. This is the 13th straight year that Nissan allows fans to have a say in the vote! Nissan's fan vote – the voice of the public – is cast along with other Heisman voters from sports journalists and previous Heisman winners.
"We are honored to be able to share this opportunity with our San Diego community. What some folks don't realize is, not only do they get a picture with the trophy, those that come down also get to VOTE for the Heisman winner," says Kenny Afshar, COO of Mossy Nissan. "This is a space that otherwise is completely closed to the public. They get an actual say in who wins the Heisman Trophy, which is very exciting!"
The Heisman Trophy will be on display at Mossy Nissan and ready for fan pictures on the following dates:
9/19 - Mossy Nissan National City: 2700 National City Blvd, National City, CA 91950
