ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Californer -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorney Adam C. Winkel has recently joined the firm's Orange County office as an associate in the commercial finance practice group.
Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Adam was an associate at Vedder Price, P.C., where he represented both borrowers and lenders in connection with secured financing to obtain a rounded and holistic experience in commercial, asset-backed lending. In addition, he prepared leases, novations, assignments and ancillary documents with airlines across the world, and negotiated the sale and purchase of railcar assets between buyer and seller and the related conditions precedent.
Prior to his time in private practice, Adam was a Founding Member of and Legal Intern at the Nicholas J. Murphy Foundation and Pro Bono Clinic in Peoria, IL, where he provided financial support, grants, and scholarships to assist individuals and families of the Armed Forces. Adam also worked for Murphy & Dunn, P.C., a family law firm in Peoria, IL, as a Legal Intern.

Adam received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was a Dean's Circle Fellow and member of the Honor Roll. While in law school, he also served as an alumnus ambassador for the business law forum and received the Faculty Award for Excellence in each of his Business Associations, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Secured Transactions classes, which signifies the highest grade in the class. Adam received his B.S. in Business in Marketing from Indiana University, Kelly School of Business and Hutton Honors College, where he graduated with high distinction.
