SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Celebrating CRT K9 and The Heroic Tail
Today, we are celebrating the incredible work done by The Heroic Tail Dog Rescue in partnership with top-rated San Diego dog trainers at CRT K9 (Canine Rehabilitation Training). Together they have been able to rescue countless dogs from high-kill shelters, or dogs deemed unadoptable.
Katie Lekas is the dedicated, amazing woman behind both CRT K9 and the founding of The Heroic Tail. Her dog training business and rescue follow the same premise. Help and train dogs who may not otherwise receive support to give them a better life. Her team works to train not only dogs but their owners to create respectful and balanced relationships which leads to happier, healthier lives.
Katie has been training dogs all of her life and now has shifted to canine behavioral rehabilitation work as an adult. She has developed a passion for dogs which is so apparent in her work. CRT K9 trains all of the dogs The Heroic Tail rescues so they can work through their traumas, and come out healthy and ready for their new homes! So many dogs are left unwanted and sent to high kill rate shelters. The Heroic Tail gives those pups a second chance with a top-rated canine specialist to work through their traumas.
