Acquisition Brings Proven Cutting-Edge AI Solutions to Automate Financial Crime Compliance and Risk Operations
NEW YORK & LOS ANGELES - Californer -- K2 Integrity, a global leader in risk management, investigations, and assurance services, today announced the acquisition of RiskFront AI, an innovative developer and provider of agentic AI systems to automate financial crime compliance and risk operations. The addition of RiskFront AI and its experienced team, led by co-founders Andy Bethurum and Mikhail Abramchyk, will provide K2 with industry-leading AI-enabled capabilities to help clients achieve meaningful cost savings, as well as increased quality and consistency in their financial crime operations.
Aaron Karczmer, K2's CEO, shared that "K2 will help accelerate and expand RiskFront AI's efforts to help banks, fintechs, and other institutions leverage AI to optimize their financial crime compliance and risk operations." K2 will use this same technology to automate its internal processes, as well as create AI-enabled managed service offerings in the financial crime space. "Pairing RiskFront AI's proven technology with K2's regulatory credibility and practitioner experience enables clients to adopt fit-for-purpose solutions with confidence," noted Aaron. Founded in 2024, RiskFront AI's automation eliminates the manual work between alert generation and human decision-making (research, data extraction, and analysis), driving material cost efficiencies and accelerating outcomes for clients. RiskFront AI currently serves several prominent global clients across banking, management consulting, technology services, and cryptocurrency trading.
