The Californer/10060551

With tools and techniques provided by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services, close to 300 volunteers poured into the historic 93-year-old San Jose Municipal Rose Garden to care for more than 189 rose varieties on Jan. 11. San José residents continue to cement the value they place on parks and community volunteerism by ensuring the vitality of our roses mirrors that of the city.  For more information, contact Justin Long, PRNS Deputy Director, at 408-793-5579stats
