Newly added to the first international short selected from The Philippines plus USA's eight Phillip E. Walker Acting Retrospective Series productions, in addition to United States films from New Jersey and Riverside, CA, the foreign films that have newly gained Official Selection for 100 Films Retreat inaugural screening include: Mustapha Benghernaout's "Just A Show"~Algeria, Jay Jay Jegathesan's "The Ghost That Walks"~Australia, Victor Mayer's "Little Bird"~Brazil, Pablo Icaza's "Valdemar"~Chile, Zoe Szymon's "Sea Temptation"~Greece, Sasan Golfar's "The Dream of Being Free"~Iran, Yoram Marcus's "If I Were Prime Minister"~Israel and Nickson Kamau's "Nalubale"~Uganda. Also, the three California films/videos newly added are Lawrence's "The Ledge"~Chatsworth plus the World Premieres of Katherine M. Phillips' "Dark Offerings Commercial"~Highland and Miguel Ramirez's "The Deal"~Ontario.

Further, under 15 minute in length films or videos from counties that have not already submitted to 100 Films Retreat #1 can gain very deep submission fee discounts by requesting same.

A new, private Facebook Group has been established to encourage support and exchange among the World's independent filmmakers and indie film lovers who cannot get to Southern California to take part in the live & in-person 100 Films Retreat event. All live & in-person attendees are driven to our Retreat facility in the Tesla official luxury vehicle, to be videotaped while alighting to walk the outdoor Red Carpet for arrival at that Festivaling Block's California Wine Tasting RECEPTION. Following which, everyone VIEWS an hour long set of 4 to 5 short films/videos. Each three hour Festivaling Block concludes with professional PHOTOGRAPHY in front of our step-and-repeat backdrop. All 100 films and videos that screen will vie for the May 2023 Top Movie Commercial and Poster awards plus the inaugural Grand Prize. Winners will be announced at the already sold-out 7:00am Awards Breakfast on Sunday, May 21st.
