Montreal Creative Agency Designs Innovative Sustainable Packaging Solutions for Global Beauty Brands
SAINT-LAURENT, Quebec - Californer -- Sustainable packaging design firm SienaBlü announced today the company's selection as a participant in the United Nations Global Compact. Companies selected for participation by the United Nations (UN) showcase the compact's ten principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. SienaBlü is a leader in the design of retail, promotional and private label packaging for lifestyle brands.
A global economic power, the beauty and personal care industry was valued at nearly $500 billion in 2018 and expected to reach $800+ billion by 2024. In response to growing consumer pressure, the industry launched the Sustainable Packaging Initiative for Cosmetics to set sustainable packaging goals and guidelines for the industry. SienaBlü designs and manufactures customized packaging, bags and salon products designed to help companies meet these sustainable packaging goals.
"The cosmetics industry is transforming rapidly as consumers increasingly demand transparency and sustainability in the products they use on a daily basis," said Chris Papp, founder of SienaBlü. "We are proud to partner with some of the biggest names in the beauty industry, from Henkel to Groupe Marcelle Cosmetics, as we create sustainable packaging solutions like compostable makeup brushes designed to reduce waste and elevate the company's brand and commitment to sustainability."
