CULVER CITY, Calif. - Californer -- The skincare industry has created a space that showcases more diverse products that cater to a more diverse audience of customers. Yet, despite the thousands of skincare products on the market, representation and advocacy for Women of Color are still limited. Black-owned skincare brands are on the rise, but most mainstream brands have the excess resources needed to market to Women of Color much easier than black-owned skincare brands that offer real solutions for melanated skin. However, two Black women, an American woman of African descent and a woman of the West African Diaspora, created a brand, Skin by Jada Ross, for women to feel confident, address their skin issues, and embrace their newly revitalized, glowing skin.
Skin by Jada Ross specializes in correcting uneven skin tones, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and post acne blemishes - primarily for melanated skin. The skincare brand has an array of collections that consist of face and body products as well as natural and vegan options. Each item is safely and effectively created to target skin issues that many individuals have struggled to find solutions for.
