Fred Haise, Apollo 13 Astronaut to be Honored at Museum Benefit
TULSA, Okla. - Californer -- The Tulsa Air and Space Museum announces the opportunity for visitors to meet Apollo 13 Astronaut and support the museum by sponsoring tables or tickets to attend the 2022 Aviator Ball II event, presenting sponsors are American Airlines and Williams Energy Company. The event will celebrate the many achievements of Fred Haise and the launch of his new book "Never Panic Early" with a book signing at this event with author, Bill Moore, Oklahoman and Space Historian.
Apollo 13 crew member, Fred Haise, graduated from the University of Oklahoma before being selected as an astronaut. Haise later performed test landings with the Space Shuttle Enterprise, after being released from the back of a 747 jet that NASA purchased from American Airlines, the event Presenting Sponsor.

The event will open doors at 11 a.m. and feature gourmet charcuterie boards, wine tasting, live actors, live painting, silent auction and each guest receives their own copy of "Never Panic Early" to have signed and personalized by Fred Haise, and author Bill Moore. The event is a come and go event and ends at 3 p.m. and immediately followed by the movie Apollo 13 in the Planetarium Theatre.
"Fred Haise is a phenomenal person with amazing stories that have shaped our world with historic heroism, affected pop culture and become role models for multiple generations" says Executive Director, Tonya Blansett. Capacity to this event is limited, so early ticket sales or table sponsorships are highly encouraged.
