Winter is a corporate and securities partner who focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, and general corporate matters. He represents investment groups and individuals in sales and investment transactions, as well as businesses with negotiating intellectual property license agreements, distribution agreements, manufacturing agreements, buy-sell agreements, option and compensation agreements, and other business contracts. Winter represents his clients during all stages of business, beginning with formation, through growth and financing transactions, as well as facilitating acquisitions and sales. Winter served previously as president and general counsel for a business management company and affiliated businesses with operations in the food and beverage, real estate, health and fitness, art and design, and investment industries. For over 11 years, he was the managing partner and co-founder of a business, litigation, and employment law firm, where he focused his practice in corporate and securities law. He also served as a corporate and securities partner in the securities and capital markets practice group of a large, international law firm. Winter received his J.D., cum laude, from University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.Sc. in accounting from Santa Clara University.
