"It was mostly off the purpose for me to still have freedom and control when I wanna drop and how much I wanna drop and I think as an artist, an underground artist that's coming up, a lot of artists [mess] themselves over by signing majors too fast and not having the freedom to be able to put out as much music before someone can actually to like your catalog," said Zoe Osama on the Effective Immediately Podcast.
