Annual livestream Omer counting tradition concludes after 49 consecutive nights of blessings, prayer, and reflection for world peace
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Rabbi Michael "Moshe" Rothschild, Orthodox Jewish rabbi, renowned Kabbalist, Ashkenazi sage, Jewish leader, and founder of the continuous 24/7/365 peace livestream, together with the Rothschild Shul, proudly celebrate Shavuot following the completion of the full Counting of the Omer live before a worldwide audience.
The Counting of the Omer is a forty-nine day Jewish spiritual practice beginning after Passover and ending on Shavuot. Each night, a blessing is traditionally recited while counting the days leading toward the commemoration of the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai.
Counting the Omer live on the livestream has now become an annual tradition for Rabbi Rothschild and viewers around the world who join nightly during the spiritual journey from Passover to Shavuot.
For all forty-nine nights of the Omer, Rabbi Rothschild recited the traditional blessing and counted the Omer live during the livestream dedicated to peace, unity, Torah learning, interfaith dialogue, compassion, and spiritual reflection.
